The Amenano Fountain
Built in 1867 by the neapolitan master Tito Angelini, the entire fountain is made of Carrara marble, The work represents the river Amenano as a young man holding a cornucopia from which flows the water that is poured in the tub. Is the edge rounded of the tank with the overflows of the water produces the effect "to sheet". From the tub, the water is rivers in the river below.
Behind the fountain a scale of lava stone leads to the ancient market cittatdino known as the fish market, a place beloved by citizens and tourists.
